I’m Elizabeth, the intuitive Licensed Massage Therapist behind Soma Sage Studio, specializing in therapeutic massage and somatic healing that helps clients release tension, reconnect with their bodies, and restore nervous system balance.

As a wife and mother of two, I understand the physical and emotional shifts women carry — especially in postpartum - and I bring that lived experience and compassion into every session.

Not at all. While women’s health, including prenatal and postpartum care, is the core focus of Soma Sage Studio, the work itself is supportive of the human nervous system as a whole. Men are absolutely welcome.

Sessions are designed for anyone craving ease, connection, and balance—whether you’re navigating chronic stress, physical tension, burnout, or simply wanting to feel more at home in your body. Q: What kind of recovery or shift can I expect after a session?

Most people walk out feeling softer, lighter, and more regulated.

Your body will keep integrating the work for 24–48 hours, so you may notice waves of release, clarity, or calm settling in as your system resets.

Q: What should I bring or wear to my appointment?

Just bring yourself. For massage, you’ll be comfortably draped the entire time. For somatic sessions with gentle movement, cozy, stretchy clothing is perfect.

Q: How often should I book sessions?

A: This depends on your body and your goals. Many clients benefit from sessions every 2–4 weeks for ongoing support, stress regulation, and maintenance. If you’re navigating chronic tension, nervous system overwhelm, postpartum recovery, or deeper patterns, more frequent sessions may be supportive at first, with sessions spacing out as your body responds. Package options are also available at a discounted rate for those wanting consistent care and deeper, ongoing support.

Q: What is cupping and what should I expect?

A: Cupping is a gentle therapeutic technique that uses suction to lift the skin and underlying tissue, helping increase circulation, release muscle tension, and support lymphatic flow. It should not be painful - most people feel a mild pulling sensation. Temporary circular marks may appear and typically fade within 3–7 days. Mild tenderness is normal, similar to deep tissue work. After your session, it’s best to avoid intense exercise, heat, alcohol, cold exposure, and sun on cupped areas for 24 hours. Cupping can be added to your regular massage at Soma Sage Studio at no additional cost, and your therapist will ensure it’s safe and tailored to your needs.
